Due to the global spreading of the Covid-19 virus, for the safety of children, teachers and volunteers, our team has developed a new plan for GoCamp 2020 language camps.
We have consulted with the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and our key partners. Our priority is the health and safety of all GoCamp participants, who are children and teachers from 500 Ukrainian schools and international volunteers from over 70 countries.
So, the new GoCamp 2020 schedule is:
For schools
– Great training for teachers – approximately the second half of August
– The first session, GoCamp Afterschool – September 7-18
– The second session, autumn holidays camps – October 26 – November 6
For volunteers
– The first session – September 2-18
– The second session – October 22 – November 6
We are closely monitoring the situation and take care of the health and safety of our participants – we will promptly notify any possible changes about the program.
All schools selected to participate in GoCamp 2020 will receive a letter with details and a short registration form for new dates.
GoCamp is the largest volunteer program in Eastern Europe, these are camps for children learning English, German and French. In 2020 more than 500 schools from all over Ukraine were selected to work under four programs – Animal Planet, Art & Creativity, Dreaming Big with Kyivstar, School as the heart of the community.
