A final week of the Year of English in Ukraine will be held on December 12-18 at the initiative of theGoGlobaland with the assistance of the President’s Administration, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the US Embassy in Ukraine, and the British Council.

A decree of the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has declared 2016 a Year of English in Ukraine. If you are interested whether Ukrainians have started to speak English, we invite you to take part in the press briefing “Results of the Year of English in Ukraine” that will be held on December 12 at 1 pm at Horshenin Institute at 18B Mala Zhytomyrska St.

The participants of the event will discuss major changes in the sphere of civil service, broadcasting of English-speaking movies in the Ukrainian cinemas, introduction of free English courses for the service workers, effectiveness of GoCamp language courses in schools, and availability of opportunities for the Ukrainians to study English for free. The journalists will be informed about the events to be held throughout Ukraine in the course of the final week of the Year of English in Ukraine.
