Starting from 19 December, the National Television Company of Ukraine as the Host Broadcaster of the Eurovision 2017 is calling for volunteers to work during the international song contest to be held in Kyiv in spring 2017.

Are you interested in becoming a part of the biggest music event in Europe? Are you proactive and in command of English or other foreign languages? Then we invite you to join the team of the Eurovision 2017 volunteers!

What the Eurovision 2017 volunteers may expect:

work with artists, press, foreign delegations and guests of the international song contest, as well as involvement in the television production of the Eurovision shows, and work in the backstage and fan areas;

practice of English and other foreign languages, special training and coaching, loyalty program, initiation ceremony, uniform, and the Eurovision 2017 volunteer certificate;

teamwork experience at the international project, new knowledge, skills, contacts, as well as unforgettable impressions and the opportunity to contribute to shaping the image of Ukraine.

“We will select 750 volunteers, who will create the Eurovision Volunteers` Family. We are looking forward to receiving applications from all those wishing to join the event of such a scale. The volunteers will make people from abroad feel comfortable during the Eurovision weeks in Kyiv. And in return, we as the Host Broadcaster of the Song Contest in Ukraine will ensure the volunteers with such work environment that will make experience obtained by them during this time useful”, said the Eurovision 2017 Executive Producer Victoria Romanova.

How to join the Eurovision Volunteers` Family?

Complete the Eurovision 2017 volunteer application form  from 19 December of the current year to 17 February 2017. You will then receive an invitation for an interview. And already in spring, you will work in the international song contest’s team.

Guests from over forty countries around the world will arrive in Kyiv in May 2017. All of them will be united by the Eurovision, and volunteers always were and remain its inseparable part. So we are waiting for you in the Eurovision Volunteers` Family.

As a reminder, the capital city of Ukraine will host the 62rd international Eurovision Song Contest in spring. 43 countries confirmed participation in the Contest. That is the record number of participants, which was repeated only twice in the history of the Eurovision back in 2008 and 2011. Victoria Romanova and Oleksandr Kharebin have been approved as the Eurovision 2017 Executive Producers. The main venue of the song contest next year is the International Exhibition Centre. The Semi-Finals of the Eurovision 2017 are on 9 and 11 May, the Grand Final – 13 May.
