Speaking clubs and learning English with Voice of America

English has been the DNA of the GoGlobal Educational Foundation since its establishment. Promotion, teaching English to children and teachers is what we have been doing for the past 8 years. In 2023, we resumed speaking clubs, which were split in five waves and more than 4,300 schoolchildren and 340 teachers took part. 170 volunteers joined these events as well.

Speaking Clubs – are not all about grammar and studying English. They are about cultural diversity worldwide, whereas language is an additional tool to communicate with people throughout the globe. Speaking Clubs participants spread information about Ukraine among foreigners, sharing the Ukrainian culture, tradition, lifestyle, and current state of affairs. This facilitates the recognition of Ukraine in the world, and attracts foreigners to study everything Ukrainian.

Our permanent partner — Voice of America, assisted us in teaching English to schoolchildren. Experts from their Learning English department helped in getting schoolchildren ready for the start of the school year 2023. The ‘Back to School’ project assisted by Voice of America covered 550 schools and 2,700+ children with its activities.
